We only produce once a year — during the tomato season. Once the harvest is over, we wait, just like tradition teaches us, for the next season to begin.

Each 500g jar contains 750g of sun-ripened, hand-picked tomatoes — pure, honest and full of flavour.

  • Sophisticated simplicity!

    Frederic Blondeel (Best chocolatier crowned by Gault & Millau) says to only heat, not boil too much the sauce. Otherwise you’ll lose the pure tomato taste. He adds a bit of passata in his salads and he also just drinks the passata.

    Founder Steven Desair loves to keep it simple, as in the Italian kitchen. A roasted eggplant (after being salted) and a bit of passata. Or only passata, a bit of garlic and chilli.

    Some mothers just pour the passata on the pasta for their little ones or add only a bit of salted butter. Passata smiles assured. Some use our passata pure on a toasted slice of sourdough bread, garlic scratched, topped with good olive oil and salt.
